The event will explore the health-related issues linked to the advancement of climate change, challenges related to the adaptation in the health sector and the role that Adaptation Fund and other organizations can play. This session, organised by the AF-TERG, will provide a spotlight on the challenges associated to adaptation to climate change with a particular focus on the Pacific and will introduce some of the initial work the Adaptation Fund TERG has done on assessing this topic. The event will focus on gathering insights directly from entities and countries on the health impacts of climate change, and on how the Fund and its partners can strengthen the health dimension of adaptation programming going forward.
