Data to Action: Launch of the Pacific Regional Evidence Base Report on Loss and Damage
SPREP
Launch of the Pacific Regional Evidence Base Report on Loss and Damage Devastating Losses and Damages are occurring across the Pacific region, and this is no new experience. As the Pacific addresses these Losses and Damages, access to data, evidence and stories of harms caused by climate change will be of vital importance. Through the support of New Zealand, SPREP has developed a Pacific Regional Evidence Base Report on Loss and Damage. This Report will be a valuable resource to Pacific Islands Counties; providing governments, organisations, researchers, and communities access to current data, address data gaps and use available evidence to leverage further climate financing. This event will not only launch the Pacific Regional Evidence Base Report on Loss and Damage but also provide the audience insight from authors and practitioners who contributed to and engage with the Report.
